NYO 2014 hit the ground running, with two monumentally challenging works in their first concert. Mahler’s heartwrenching Fifth Symphony and Larry Goves’ The Rules which harnesses the electric energy of a huge orchestra. This concert was classic NYO at its most powerful, exciting best.
