From the moment he started learning the violin aged four, Aki has enjoyed playing with other people. He describes it as “one of the main things that has inspired me”.
When he’s not playing with various orchestras and chamber music groups, Aki’s busy with sport, chess and volunteering. He plays football and athletics and often goes to cheer on his local club, Tottenham Hotspur.
He says about the NYO community:
I’m able to share my enthusiasm and passion for music with people of my age and inspire and be inspired with others.
I like contributing to the mission by spreading my eagerness to get orchestral music in every place in the country possible. I am keen to bond with a variety of people my age and share and learn with peers through this wonderful medium of music.
