We're teaming up with charismatic conductor John Wilson again for a concert tour of orchestral brilliance. The journey begins in the chilly isolation of outer space, lands in the middle of a lively Polish party and ends in the radiant warmth of a show stopping Russian symphony. On the programme is...
Brett Dean Komarov's Fall
Symanowski Symphony No. 4,
Rachmaninov Symphony No. 2
Also joining us for the Symanowski will be enthralling pianist Tamara Stefanovich. We look forward to bringing our infectious energy and epic sound to the Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham (5 Jan) , Symphony Hall, Birmingham (6 Jan), and the Royal Festival Hall, London (7 Jan), where we're proud to be Associate Orchestra of the Southbank Centre. As always, we have £5 under-25 tickets for all concerts in association with Classic FM.
Before our Royal Festival Hall performance, we're especially excited to be putting on an NYO Teen Fest - a unique teenage meet-and-greet event hosted by our NYO Young Promoters from Lister Community School. This is a chance to discover the stories behind the music, and meet NYO Musicians and Young Promoters. With a £5 under-25 ticket, you gain free entry to this event in the Blue Room from 6.30-7.15pm.
