In 2022 and beyond, NYO is on a mission to work alongside teenage musicians to open up orchestral music and share it with young people across the UK. Expect playing in the aisles, riotous music from a range of genre-bending composers young and old, and an inclusive, celebratory atmosphere designed to make everyone feel welcome, whether you’re a newcomer or a seasoned concert-goer.

In the winter, we celebrate the opportunity to open up to concert hall audiences with two orchestras, and conductors Sian Edwards and Andrew Gourlay, playing music from this repertoire that embodies freedom and release, connecting with dance genres.

It’s time to get connected!

Join us in this boundary-breaking performance as the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain open up the music they love to audiences across the UK, packed with pulsing dance rhythms and a feeling of freedom and release.

Expect a burst of youthful energy and an inclusive, inspiring concert experience as we kick off 2022 with a bang.
