This weekend Tess Jackson, NYO alumna, has been invited to conduct Gavin Higgins’ Concerto Grosso for Brass Band and Orchestra, within our Catalyst performances led by conductor Jessica Cottis.
Tess is currently The National Youth Orchestra’s Associate Conductor and her affinity with young musicians will be demonstrated as she leads 150 musicians from NYO and the National Youth Brass Band. She has a deep relationship with the organisation having played violin in the Orchestra as a teenager.
We are delighted that our relationship with Tess goes from strength to strength.
