This February, The National Youth Orchestra is coming to Blackpool. For the first time ever, we are hosting an activity and performance opportunity for local musicians who play in a band of any genre (this includes pop, rock, reggae, soul, or funk).
If you are part of a local band and aged 14-18 (Year 9 and above), come and join our super friendly community in a FREE creative 3-day programme of music-making. You don’t need to have taken any graded exams or read music to participate.
As a band, you’ll explore new genres, get creative, and play your part in creating new music together on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 February. On Monday 19 February, you’ll have the opportunity to perform the music you’ve created as the audience take their seats in The Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
Please note, there are only places for 5 bands available for this opportunity, so sign up promptly to avoid disappointment!
