Give a teenager a free place on NYO Inspire

Unlock the door for a young musician who just needs a chance

Many promising young musicians across the UK are seeing their orchestral music journeys come to an end. There is little to no opportunity in their local area, and their family may not be able to afford private courses.Talented teenagers like Iona have had to stop their music lessons for this reason. They have the drive and the passion for music. They want to be stretched and to go as far as they can. But the opportunities just aren’tthere.

NYO Inspire can give them the chance that they need. It can give a teenager the chance to play orchestral music at a higher level with other young people who share their passion. It can be the community where they find belonging and gain skills for life. And thanks to our supporters, they get to experience all of this for free.

You can play your part in giving a teenager a free place that can transform their whole life.

£12 could give a teenager on the cusp of something remarkable the chance to discover what they’re capable of. Even an hour can make a world of difference to their playing, their ability to connect with others, and their confidence. A free place can unlock a world of possibilities for a teenage musician who just needs a chance.

I had to stop my music lessons because we couldn’t afford them. I was sad because I’d been working hard at playing the violin. So my free place on NYO Inspire is literally everything to me. It’s been an eye opener to see the standard and play my part in it.
