Help teenagers access the power of playing music together
Young musicians are facing barriers every day preventing them from accessing the transformational power of playing orchestral music together with so many others who share their passion.
NYO are known for our Orchestra. But we also reach thousands of musical teenagers across the country every year, with free activities, free projects and even free residencies for young musicians to access orchestral music with hundreds of others.
The experience of playing and sharing music together develops their confidence, their self-belief – they discover what they are truly capable of, and they take that with them into their lives outside of NYO.
Donate today to give a free place to a teenager on an NYO project this winter.
Your donation will help young musicians across the country, no matter their background, where they live, or financial barriers that they face. They will discover how sharing music, facing challenges together, and uniting with other musicians will develop confidence, life-skills and find a sense of belonging in a space where they are seen, heard and valued.
