Help transform a teenage musician's life through NYO Inspire
A free place at NYO Inspire can mean so much to a young musician without opportunity
Across the UK, many young musicians are facing challenges with access to music. Opportunities in their schools and local area are dwindling. And the few that are available are often unable to provide the challenge they need to continue, or are out of reach due to finances. Because of this, many teenagers miss out on the opportunity to experience the joy and connection of performing orchestral music with their peers.
NYO Inspire is our outreach programme that provides orchestral opportunities to these teenage musicians. The next activity will be taking place this summer – two days of coaching from world-class tutors, rehearsing and collaborating with fellow young musicians, and finding their belonging in a community of teenagers that share their passion. And thanks to our supporters, every musician gets to experience all of this for free.
You can play your part in helping a musician experience NYO Inspire in 2026.
£22 can give an hour of rehearsal that transforms how a young musician understands orchestral music.
