This February, hundreds of eager teenage musicians will come together over three days of incredible musical activity at NYO Inspire Ensembles. They will discover the beautiful sound they can create with others in their instrument section. They will learn to listen to each other and rise to challenges together whilst exploring high-level repertoire. They will find their place in a group of young people as passionate about music as they are.

Even an hour can make a world of difference to their confidence, their ability to connect with others, and their playing. A free place can unlock a world of possibilities for a teenage musician. 

If you’d been sitting in the audience at the Winter concert in my old school, you’d have seen me coming onto the stage alone and playing my violin to a backing track. There was nobody in school to accompany me. Then I found NYO Inspire and my free place completely changed my life!
